This was a great suspense. From the book cover art (the hazy reflection in the puddle of water which could be female or male, child or adult) to the way that the “horrible crime” was slowly revealed in all its truth, These Things Hidden was an engrossing read.

DARK PLACES by Gillian Flynn

Personally, I thought the movie version of Gone Girl was better than the novel. But I enjoyed this mystery/suspense novel by Gillian Flynn much, much more. Hope you enjoy Dark Places too.
