Review: THE HANDMAID’S TALE by Margaret Atwood

Reading this reminded me strongly of the brilliant 1984, except this is told from a woman’s point of view, in a world that is set in the near future. Disturbing at times, this is thought-provoking and an excellent read.

  2. I saw the film version and read this book for my Intro to Women’s Studies class in college. This is a good book to read and I would recommend it.

  4. I read this years ago when it first was published. Loved it, was disturbed by it, and still think about it. Good book.
