INVISIBLE MONSTERS by Chuck Palahniuk

Outside of the horror genre, Chuck Palahniuk is one of my favourite authors of all times. An ex-girlfriend recommended this book as a must-read, and I agree that it is contemporary novel at its best: there is twisted, sick humor, disturbing truths and deceits, but also, glimmers of hope and a dash of love.

    I’ve been a Palahniuk fan since I read “Choke,” a wild, sad, gritty tale of a man who tricks rich strangers into saving his life so they’ll send him money.
